Description

The Amazon Applied Science Internship is available to students who are pursuing a PhD in engineering, computer science, machine learning, statistics, physics, or related field. You must have experience with Java, C++, or other programming language, as well as with R, MATLAB, Python, or similar scripting language to be considered for this internship. Additionally, you must have the understanding and ability to implement algorithms using both toolkits and self-developed code and be proficient in experiment design/statistical analysis. Preference will be given to applicants who understand architectural concepts and algorithms and have publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals. As an intern, you will own the design and development of end-to-end systems, write technical white papers, and create technical roadmaps. You will work closely with Amazon scientists, and other science interns to develop solutions and deploy them into production. This internship is located in Seattle, WA. Average monthly compensation for an Amazon Intern is $8,000.
