Description

The People Research Scientist, PhD Intern is available to students pursuing a PhD in an analytical field (e.g., computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, operations research, management science) or other statistically-oriented field, or pursuing a PhD in organizational behavior, political science, psychology, or sociology with a strong grounding in quantitative methods. You must be deeply interested in organizational behavior and in understanding what motivates people, one year applying statistics and/or machine learning techniques to solving business problems, and able to clearly and concisely explain the output of technical analyses to non-technical members of the HR and recruiting business functions to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will apply your expertise in statistics, machine learning, or data mining to see beyond the numbers and understand what Facebook can do to recruit, grow and keep talent.
