National Prison Project - Legal Internship

The National Prison Project - Legal Internship is available to law students who have completed their first year. Intern duties may include conducting internet and factual research and analysis, participating in discovery and motion practice, assisting in drafting of motions and briefs, drafting policy and legal memos and other projects as needed. You must demonstrate excellent research, writing and verbal communication skills, the initiative to see projects through to the completion, be detail oriented, be proficient in Microsoft Office, be familiar with criminal justice issues and demonstrate a commitment to public interest law to be considered for this internship.
