Description

The REU Collaborative Marine Research Internship is available to undergraduate students who are least 18 years of age and are interested in marine research. You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to be considered for this internship. As an intern, you will conduct individual research projects in a collaborative team environment under the expert mentorship of BIOS faculty and staff, focusing on one of the following areas: coral reef function and resilience, planktonic life, or marine microbial oceanography. REU interns will also participate in training seminars and workshops in scientific communication, research methods and ethics, and career development. This 12-week program is offered in St. George's, Bermuda.
