Description
The Collections Information and Archives Internship is open to seniors and graduate students majoring in museum studies, library science, information management or art history. Interns will also deal with new web content relating to the museum's collections, exhibitions and institutional archives, among other things. Participants must commit to working 240 hours over a 12-week period. Interns will participate in digitizing one-of-a-kind museum artifacts, including researching, preparing and editing collection information for release on LACMA's website. Academic credit can be arranged. Preference is given to students who express serious interest in pursuing a museum career.
