Posted 4 months ago I'm starting school pretty soon and it is an accelerated program so I won't be able to work, which will be nice for a while, but I have quite a bit of debt that I need to get paid off before I am no longer gainfully employed. Any good ideas? Serious suggestions only please! Thank you. |

| Posted 4 months ago Try taking out a Federal Loan for the small portion of debt you have, say you need it for you school year so you don't have to pay it back after 6 months after you graduate. You should be able to get the loan, since it's a federal loan, unlike a bank they won't decline you since they judge you basically on your credit score. |

| Posted 4 months ago Apply for as many grants and scholarships as possible. Take out a loan as a last resort. It can be easy to get a loan while in school, but not so easy to pay back when school is over. |

| Posted 2 months ago The best way to get out of debt is not by saving but by earning. I started earning cash from the internet in my sophmore year. It's fairly simple to do, if you want to check it out the link is; it's pretty self explanatory. Paying for college is hard any little thing you can do to lighten the financial stress helps a lot in the long run. Hope this helps you out as much as it did for me. Cheers, Josh

| Posted 2 months ago I took a financial class called, "Financial Peace University" through a church. It will run you about $100.00 for the course, but the membership is free and you can go back anytime to retake any of the lessons. Me and my husband completed the course last year and we went from $52,000 in debt to about $30,000 witht he little income we get. The trick is (and its really hard to do) to give up your social life. Like going out with friends, spending money you don't have on stupid stuff and etc. Thats how we got out of debt. I would go t this website: www.daveramsey.com and click on FPU and find a location nearest you to take the class. It is well worth it. |
