It is probably best to invest in a four year university. The training will be invaluable and the college experience as a whole will definitely impact your life and personal growth. There are plenty of universities that offer cinema/television production, etc. I recommend looking into a number of schools in California as Hollywood is most definitely where you will want to be in order to have a fulfilling career in this industry. Other notable film programs can be found in New York (of course), Columbia College  or Northwestern (both are in Chicago), or Texas. However, please keep in mind that Hollywood boasts the largest film industry followed by New York, so selecting a school in either one of the meccas is probably a wise choice since you will want to intern, gain experience and network frequently.
