A few questions about applying for scholarships/FAFSA:

1)Is it possible to apply for scholarships mid-year and let's say, receive the money for the winter semester?

2) What about FAFSA? (See above)

3) Do you simply get the money at the beginning of the school year?

Thanks in advance.

The Financial Aid office of the school you want to attend can help you with these questions.  Short answer - no, it is not too late to apply for federal financial aid for the fall, spring, winter, summer semesters unless that semester is already completed.

1) Yes

2) The deadline for the FAFSA various from state to state and from college to college, but the federal deadline is June 30.

3) Possiblly.  you can get it in installments or as one lump sum, at it is either paid to you or directly to your school.
