Posted 4 months ago You should first consider what your favorite classes are. Do you dread leaving your home economics class? Do you smile at the thought of what you'll be learning in Math? You should always look at the classes you like and go from there. Also, the first year or so of college is devoted to general education. It's really good if you know what you want before you go in, but by taking the college general ed courses, you see what challenges you will face in each course and can expound upon that. For instance, you thought you would love Literature, but it requires all of your strength just to stay awake in the college course. So, naturally, you would cross that one out. Now let's say you take a course that concerns elementary education, and you just can't stop thinking about it, then you would go that route. So, what are your favorite classes?

Posted 4 months ago I'd say that you should sign on board to be an educator :) Become an education major to teach at the elementary school level. Or if even this scares you, go in UNDECLARED, remember, you can always change your major, and the first 2 years are only general education, so its no time wasted!

Posted 2 months ago You could always try voluteering for different things and gain experience, which looks good on a resume. Idealist.org or volunteermatch.com is a start. This will give you an opportunity to explore different fields.
