Posted 16 days ago I just got a rather large check in the mail from my school. I got the max amount I could be approved for through a pell grant. After some research, I now understand that the Pell Grant is not something I have to pay back, but what's up with getting the remainder of what I was approved for back in the mail? Is the extra money mine? |

| Posted 12 days ago Assalamu alaikum and greetings of peace, My award letter should be coming in a few weeks in Mid-November, insha'allah. The money you recieved back is your extra money I would assume because FInancial Aid sends your money to the college. You should call the Financial Aid office or your school!!
