I have no idea if I am considered a first generation college student or not. I have tried searching but nothing is clear enough. I know for sure my mom has taken a few college classes, but has no degree, not even an A.A. I think my dad may have taken some classes as well, but I know he does not have a degree either. In some searches it says this would not consider me to be first gen., but others say it would. How do I know for sure? I tried looking on my school's website, but have found nothing to help me. I hope someone can tell me what I need to know!! Thanks.
