Poll: How do you manage a job and going to college at the sametime and not knowing your major yet?

Posted 22 days ago well i've been in community college now for about two years now and been working. The most difficult part is that i have not decided yet what i want to major in and it's become quite difficult with my job. But , this recession stuff is pretty bad.I don't want to quit my job but i also need to go to school and decided in what i need to major. So i don't know what else to do maybe i need a very good counselor i don't know any suggestions???? |

| Posted 16 days ago Stick with it dont give up I find it hard to balance school work and life I know its worth it though I would suggest some deep thought do you have friends or family that have a great job maybe you could shadow them? Ask questions! you come in contact with lots of people ask them what they do if they like it what degrees they have.... |

| Posted 16 days ago I'm a freshmen in college. I'm having such a hard time finding a job. I can't work during the work. I always get alot of homework as it is. I don't have a whole lot of employment experience either. The only replies I get are "I'm sorry. You do not meet our requirements." I don't know if I'm so dim witted that I can't pass a customer service test or if it's because of my schedule. =( |

| Posted 13 days ago I feel you on that answer. With the economy being in such disparity, it's hard finding part-time job. I go to school full-time and I am looking for a job that is flexible, something like doing waitress or working retail, and I haven't got a response back. This economy is a tough one. Good luck. |
