big or small college?

Posted about 1 month ago Okay so I live in Murfeesboro TN. So I am close to MTSU. I would much rather go to Union University though. The only problem is the fact that Union is 30 thousand dollars where MTSU is like 7 thousand. Another issue is the fact that MTSU could have like 100 kids in one class where Union will have like 30 at the most. I am sorta shy so a smaller school would fit my style better but there is no way that I can get that much money.
Anyone have any ideas??? Thanks!! |

| Posted about 1 month ago Hi Holly, I read your post and it seems your question of a big or small college is what most students face. Have you decided on a major and does each of the schools mentioned have the program? If they both do, then you only have the financial part to handle. Most schools have online courses now, so you won't always be in a class with 100 kids. If you attend MTSU will you live at home or on campus? There are many groups you can join once you get there to get to know other students so don't feel alone, many go to school "shy". If you don't have the money for 4 yrs. at Union, have you considered starting your first 2 years at your local Community College? This way it won't cost as much when you are a transfer student, and you'll have met some students who you will be friends with. Let me know if this helps... :) |
