| Posted 4 months ago I would say: try the "Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation" they are plenty of money to give away for students in America who need a Scholarship. They are even the richest people living on this planet Earth!!! Start looking for it now right away! Go for it! Arnold. |

| Posted 4 months ago I don't think you need GPs and SAT to get a scholarship. I had researched on (http://getscholarshiponline.info/) and found that their are plenty of colleges/universities available that don't ask for high GPAs or SAT scores. Infact, I was forunate to find a good scholarship in my area which was easy to get. BTW, I am not a rocket scientist :) |

| Posted 4 months ago First, I want to say thank you to Fast Web and I will tell you why. I am not going to jerk your chain and tell you that you will find enough money. However, what I will tell you is this. I have attended college for four (4) years now and have spent a grand total of …….$0.39: of my own money. Yes, that is thirty-nine cents (.39) or 39 pennies, and that was for a stamp. I work part time (15hours a week) at a community college and spend about 12-15 hours a week searching for scholarships. So far that extra 12-15 hours a week has netted about $36,000 dollars in grants, scholarships, internships, and work study income, not to mention other perks. Not bad for a few hours a week!!! If you go on the web and look up free grants and scholarships for college, you can find multiple printed pages of free, yes free search engines (my personal favorite is Fast Web), however there are many others. They will seek out grants, etc. for you, all you have to do is fill out a short questionnaire for each one you pick. When something comes up that matches your own personal answers, the search engine will notify you by email. Then it is up to you to go to that search engine site, get the info, go to the sponsor’s website and fill it out. No one is going to give you money if you don’t ask for it!! No one is going to know you need that money unless you ask for it!!! So, ask for it already. They are going to give it to somebody; it might as well be you. I started out just like you searching for money for college because no one else in my family had ever been fortunate enough to attend secondary education. I received my Associate in Arts degree in 2006, the first in my family to ever graduate any college. Believe me, there is no other feeling quite like it. Oh, by the way, I am proud to say that now, I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the Golden Key Society, published in Who’s Who in America’s Community Colleges, and have my biography in The National Dean’s List, 2003, 2005 and 2007 editions. I am also a published author and on the board of The American Association of University Women and acting secretary of my AAUW branch, among other honors and awards. It all started by filling out my first Fast Web profile. Good luck to everyone and happy hunting.
