What do you trully feel about being a muslim?

For me it's a way of life. Alhamdulillah I am blessed to be given such devine guidance that i can't faulter. The Holy Qu'ran shows me what I don't know. Being a muslim has changed my life. For me Islam is my medication, without it I am lost. it enables me to be humble, modest, to help mankind, and to strive in the best of manners. It's a reminder that life is just the appetizer and I still haven't had the main course. I am human with strengths and weaknesses yet i can be ungrateful at times when I should be counting my blessings for time is ticking against me. This is what being a muslim means to me.

Write or discuss about your feeling on being a muslim or wish to convert to a muslim.

I feel a little lost about being a Muslim. I love Allah and the Prophet (pbuh) however I feel there are things I want to do in life. Mere temptations I give into like drinking alcohol and having a late night out dancing with a group of friends. Astaghfurallah but I am not following the religion of Islam 100% I used to make my prayers five times a day and now its down to barely Friday prayers. I just recently graduated and plan to continue my education. I am going through divorce and I have two kids. I know everything is going to be okay. I am Muslim and I am proud however I don't want to wear the Hijab and I want to be free to do what makes me happy. Astaghfurallah. Any advice?

JESUS. Jesus is the answer to your worries. I know you may not want to hear his name, or read it. But I did take the time to read your post, and the least you could do is return the favor. I have been a Christian for 8 years and I know that I would be lost, and I was without Jesus in my life. Many so called Christians will say you must do this or that to be "saved," meaning you will be with Jesus in hevean. But it is a very simple process to be "saved." First, you must believe in your heart, that you are a sinner, and that you need a savior. Next, you must believe that Jesus raised himself from the dead, which sets christianity apart from all other religions in the world. We serve a risen GOD not a dead one. Then, you must call on the name of Jesus, and ask him to remember you in glory, ask him to saved you from eternal damnation in hell. Then you are finished. If you do this and mean it you shall be saved, and I will see you in heaven. But, I would like to encourage you to get a HOLY BIBLE and read it and try to live as it teaches. But if you do nothing after accepting Jesus and turning your life over to him, you will be just fine. I wil be praying for you, and I wish you the best of hope, and I will try to have faith that you may come to know my LORD and Savior. May GOD bless you in all that you do!

Tahany, even if you do not agree with Christianity (whether you decide to look into it or not due to Jarrad's post), we share a common enemy: Satan. I believe in Islam he is called "Iblis?" I'm sorry, but I'm not strong in knowledge of Islam.

Satan is an expert of making bad things look good and vice versa. If you're honestly asking for advice, then I would suggest this: pray. Ask God to help you. No sin, no matter serious, can separate us permanently from God. If we will come to Him, He wil come to us. However, it probably won't be a sudden change in your life; you might/might not have a sudden realization of truth. It rarely happens that way.

Perhaps you should try this: when you go out, try not to go out as late as you usually do. Set a time where you will be home, no matter what (withut speeding or something like that). I promise you that if you say your prayers when you need to, every time, your problems will be solved. Not completely at once, but it will be bearable. God loves you no matter what you do.

Congrats on your happiness, Suraia. I, personally, am a Christian, but I'm happy that you're happy.
