My husband and I are going to school. I am working part time and going to school full time. My husband on the other hand is working full time and going to school part time. We have a mortgage payment and the usual bills. Does anyone have any suggestions on transitioning to part time employment while managing our finances? I appreciate any information or resources you may have to offer.

consider refinancing your home to a lower rate if it is over 6.25%, it would likely be beneficial.  if it doesnt lower the payment enough to pay for itself in the next 3-5 years, or if you intend to stay in the home longer, it could benefit you.  I am a mortgage banker with Wells Fargo.  check the rates on my website - www.karolcrowleymortgages.com

if you have enough equity, you may be able to take cash out to pay off some of the other bills too.  rates are still extremely low...
