| Posted 5 months ago Pretty hard. The UC system already only accepts roughly the top 10% of California high school graduates, but when I was looking into UCLA, the average GPA of an accepted student was 4.0. They probably weigh SAT scores very heavily too since so many students want to go there. I would say maybe the top 2% of California high school graduates get into UCLA, and then if you're from out of state, you probably have to find a way to stand out more. |

I'm assuming it is difficult; my best friend went there for two years before transfering to Columbia University, in New York City. But her grades were exceptional and so were her SAT/ACT scores. |
