I was recently denied the pell grant I applied for, why well simply put they said i made too much money, I only made 14,000 last year 2008,

well I called they based it on me and my husbands income, now mind you we didnt get married until June 2009, so how can they use

his income for 2008? Any ideas or what or who I can talk too to try to change this?
