Posted 2 months ago How much, on average, did you spend on books this semester? It seems like even though I bought books from cheaper vendors, I still ended up spending hundreds of dollars |

| Posted 2 months ago First of all--Half.com is my new best friend ^_^ Before that, I got books from the college bookstore or uloop.com (which I believe is mostly only used by UW students). For 3 classes I usually spend $400-$500 but, like the name suggests, I only spend about half that or less at Half.com. It may take a week or 2 to come in, and since they are sold by individuals or small companies they won't come all at once, but your school library may have course book reserves you can check out for an hour, or a day, which helps until it comes in (if your school financial aid is stupid like mine and doesn't give you money until the first day of the quarter ;_; ). |

| Posted 2 months ago I just have one thing to say guys....THIS website here beats 'em allll...www.valorebooks.com.. try it....I had great prices with them "eBay" is also a good source but a little tricky at times as people advertise old versions. Valore books has both new and used texts and you can sell your old boring ones too! |

Try Chegg.com...you can rent by semester, 1/2, or 1/4 semester and they pay for all the shipping. |

. What was the best deal you got on a textbook and where?
