| Posted 4 months ago You can do either one of these or you can have a concnetration in premed and pick another major such as psychology or any major you want. I will advise you that it is a rigorous process to get into medical school so the more challenging classes you take (or the more rigorous a curriculum you take) the better it will be for you. You should research the different medical schools you are thinking of applying to when yo gradaute and see what they expect of their graduate students. They usually have this information available on their website or you can call the medical school directly. |

| Posted 2 months ago I am a pre-med/biology student and I am a senior right now. Really you need to look at the med school you plan on applying to and see what classes they require. The Biology degree will give you many of the required classes you will need in order to not only take you MCAT but also to get into med school. You can always shoot high though and go with a biochem degree. This would give you somewhat of an advantage. Also you may want to talk to your program/ degree advisor. He or she should be an expert at what you need to be doing. |
