Honestly, it's all up to you. I'd give it a shot just to see if you can handle your work load as well as homework or extracirricular activities. I, personally, worked on the weekends throughout high school because I saw what high school was like and knew that I had extra time to do other things. It all depends on your daily schedule, though. Test the waters. If it doesn't work for you, then at least you tried.

Hey working while going to school is great, but try working from home, it's alot easiers and less hassle. You get more time for your studies.

I started working from home about 4 months ago. I make around $100 a week from using simple survey sites.

If you want to try it out its

www.CashCrate.com

good luck.

So on CashCrate.com, you have to join different websites and take quizzes that want your personal info?

But isn't that kind of risky because you don't know how they are going to use your information...

Please let me know because it looks interesting but i am not sure about giving my contact info.

Anything that pays you money requires your personal info, unfortunately. There are plenty of scams out there, and I'm inherantly distrustful of any organization that calls itself 'CashCrate.com' and promises you easy money for sitting at home. The only way to find out if this CashCrate is legit or not is to risk it and give your personal info out.

Particularly be cautious of any job opportunity that tells you that you must pay first. There are an awful lot of scammers out there right now what with how bad the economy is. Don't lose your money to shysters, and do your homework first (heh, not that homework, but that's not a bad idea either. ;)

As for working weekends, if your schedule allows for it, sure. Spending money is always great to have. Just remember your full time job is getting an education. However, be aware that it's a buyer's market right now as far as jobs are concerned. Many of the places you, as a high school student, will be able to work at are overloaded with many other people just like you, plus some people much more qualified than you (think people like me, 35 year old career folks who have been displaced by the downturn...*sigh*) all competing for those few positions. If you have some talents of your own, you may be better served by telling your friends and family that you're willing to do odd jobs. It may not be steady, but you can focus on your studies. Good luck on your search.

Jeremy, I have been using CashCrate for over two years now. I get paid roughly $400-500 dollars month. No they do not require personal info. You are filling out surveys for large companies, that want to gain the popular opinion on thier products. It is very simple. Please don't accuse the site of being a fraud if you have never tried it.

I would encourage any full time student to give it a try, it's simple and easy to do, and you can do it from home.

try it out for yourself and see.

=P

cheers,

josh

Hey, thanks alot for your advice. I did try cashcrate.com and they had some quizzes(like one named "what's you superhero power?") that want your personal info. for no reason. So i was thinking is that such a good idea? Is that what you do also? So the job is to join different websites?

Hey Mahuya, no you don't have to give your personal info, don't complete those offers, although they pay more. Just do the cheaper one's. I've found that you can do quite a few of the cheaper ones in the time you take to fill out those quizzes. I think that's your best bet.
