Posted 7 months ago So i have been planning on being a foreign exchange student for a few years now. But I'm only 15 so its kind of hard for me to get a job. I used to have a baby sitting job but his shift changes. I have about a year to save like 2 grand. I want to be a farm hand next summer, but I donk know it that will be enough. I have sports that keep me from getting a job during the school year, and I dont have a car. I cant get a job in town because there is none. So I guess im asking for ideas so i can get money.. and how could I get the word out that I want to be a farm hand. |

Posted 7 months ago u don't say where u are living but talk to farmers and tell them your desire to be a farm hand. Cleaning houses was something I need when I was your age in addition to babysitting. Walking dogs is another. How about cleaning/detailing cars? Customers could bring the car to you! Look on craig's list to see what people are searching for... Are you good at typing maybe you could be a virtual assistant to someone with a home business. A friend of mine was a very successful Mary Kay consultant and she often employeed HS girls to help her organize and do some of her mailings.. Good luck

Posted 2 months ago well if your financially stuck you could try working online. Its an easy task and coupled with your job earnings it can help out alot with the bills. The website i use is http://www.cashcrate.com give it a try and see if it works for you. A little extra cash is hard to come by thats why i took it up. It was pretty self explanatory and easy to do.

Posted 2 months ago To all young people with educational needs a word of advise. Always fill out a Fafsa, and never say that you are interested in loans just grants and scholarships. In this country, it is actually a blessing to be poor because you can go to school for free! After high school ,if you aren't offered a full scholarship that covers the full ride in a University, then attend a community college and then transfer! You can always transfer to a prestigious institution if you make sure to have a good GPA. The other word of advise is to always have faith that your dreams will come true because God will make a way wherethere is no way! FIGHT ON!!!

Posted 2 months ago yes this is true. Although I feel it's a bit unfair. It is still true. The poorer people get more help from the government regarding school. Larger families will get more aid than smaller families simply because they have more children. I think this is unfair though. Each family with the same income should get the same amount of aid. If not then we should all have ten kids and let the government pay for everything. Do you see why i think thats unfair? But anyway thats the way it is. And good luck with your college search. Josh
