Composite: 29

English: 26

Math: 25

Reading: 35

Science: 30

I know I could improve on the Math and English, but unless I keep the reading that high again it wouldn't help much if at all. Do you think I should take it again or stick with this?

 Definitely take it again!

I got a 29 my first time and a 29 the second time - not much changed. However, it is one of my BIGGEST regrets that I didn't take it a third time. I really think I could have boosted my score up just one point to a 30. Many colleges draw the line for their scholarship money between 29 and 30, so I think I could have gotten more scholarship money with a 30.

Take it again...what could it hurt?!

Good luck!

I'd go for it. Keep in mind, I took the ACT two times. On the first time, my composite was a 21. The second time, I got a 20. The first time, I had pretty decent scores everything, except in math where I got an 18. The second time, I got an 19 in math, and all of my other scores went down.  I don't feel bad about it. I'm going to a great college. That shows you how standarized test scores aren't that important. As long as you have a good grades and some school activities.

Take it as much as you can. I had a composite of 21 my first time and 23 my second. Def. take it as many times as you can, all you can do is improve!

Ok here are my thoughts on that.... I took the ACT through my high school. All of my friends did like way better than me but I still got a 24 on it. The colleges that I am looking at don't expect anything higher than a 21, which I obviously got. I don't plan on taking it again but that is because I am happy with what I got. However, if you want to take it again, go for it! You already did a lot better than me!!! Have fun!!

Take it again!  What can it hurt?  You show colleges your highest score and you already have a 29.  If you raise it to a 30, the world will be at your feet.  There are a ton of scholarships for ACT scorers with a 30+.  I made a 32 my first go-round and I'm still taking it again. You have nothing to lose.  Good Luck!  :)

I agree with the others, if you think you can improve, take it again!  The ACT score is something that really helps you to win scholarships and get into college, if yours if a high one.  Josh
