Unfortunately, all you can do is keep trying. Fill out and send in the application and make sure to call them back to make sure that they know you're interested. If 70 people apply but only 6 call and ask for an interview, guess who they look at?It's tough right now because entry level jobs that you or I are qualified for are going to 35 year old people that just got laid off and have to find a new way to feed their families. Just keep at it and something will eventually come up. I'm trying hard too because I'm graduating next year and REALLY need some cash. Good luck to you.

I have somehow had a job since I was a Sophmore in High School.  One good thing to do is even if you have to work during the school year a little get a part-time job working 10-15 hours, then during the summer bump up to 40 and start making some money to save for college or pay off your car.  I have 3 jobs right now, 2 I am on extended leave from until I get done with my summer "internship" at an AFB in New Mexico making $11.74.  I am going into my 3rd year in the fall of college.
