8. Florida State University – Tallahassee, FL
While Florida State University is just over two hours from University of Florida, the Top Party Schools List implies that they’re a little crazier at Florida State.
But Florida State students are just as crazy about sports as the Gators – there must be something in the water down there. They rank 6 on the Students Pack the Stadiums List as well as 15 on Everyone Plays Intramural Sports.
Outside of sports, Florida State also landed on the Major Frat and Sorority Scene at number 15.
7. Pennsylvania State University – University Park, PA
More commonly known as “Penn State,” the University is no stranger to the Top Party Schools List. Students at Penn State have been known to celebrate just about everything.
But Penn State has also made Princeton Review lists in the past that shed light on another aspect of campus and this year is no different. Everyone must really play an intramural sport as evidenced by the school claiming the top spot on the Intramural Sports List. It also ranked number six on the Jock Schools List in addition to number three on the Students Pack the Stadium List.
Outside of sports, Penn State has the third Best Career Services, the sixth Best College Newspaper and the fifteenth Best College Library.
Most importantly though, Penn State made the Top 20 List for School Runs Like Butter, which explains why it also landed seventh on the Happiest Students List.
6. West Virginia University – Morgantown, WV
Outside of the Princeton Review’s superlative rankings like Top Party Schools, West Virginia University also made the Review’s Best Southeastern Colleges List.
Additionally, it ranks number 12 on the Best Athletic Facilities List and holds both of the number 16 slots on the Best College Library and Students Pack the Stadium Lists.
