The cities were ranked based upon cities with the most rental listings, compared to unemployment rates (which Rent.com doubly weighted), the cost of living in that particular city and wages.

The cities ranked in the top ten were those that new college graduates would be most likely to find work with a reasonable paycheck and affordable housing.
