9. United States Naval Academy
Annapolis, MD

Like most other military academies, candidates for admission to the United States Naval Academy (USNA) must apply directly as well as receive a congressional nomination and tuition is funded by the Navy in exchange for active duty service upon graduation.

Around 1,300 students, work towards a Bachelor of Science degree with a curriculum that focuses on academics, military leadership performance and competitive athletics as well as strictly adhering to the USNA’s “Honor Concept.”
