Believe it or not, Solo started her college career as a forward at University of Washington. There, she tried her talents in the goal, and it stuck, states Wikipedia. She walked away from her college career as a four-time All-Pac-10 selection and a three-time NSCAA All-American.
Solo graduated in 2002 and majored in Speech Communications, according to GoHuskies.com.
