Who's Looking Out for the Student Athlete?

WHO needs to adhere to these rules? 

Any aspiring D-I or D-II student-athlete.

WHAT do I need to do? 

  • Register with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
  • Complete the Amateurism form.
  • Submit the Domestic Release Forms to your high school counselor.
  • Request that your ACT/SAT test scores be sent directly from the “Test Center” using Code “9999” to the NCAA Eligibility Center.
  • Compare your high school transcript with your school's List of Approved Core Courses formerly known as Form 48H)
  • Enter the 6-digit high school code—e.g., 335205
  • After entering a high school code, choose SUBMIT

WHEN should I do all this?

At the start of your Junior year; it's never too early to begin reviewing the NCAA Clearinghouse requirements.

WHY is this important?

NCAA Clearinghouse requires prospective D-I and D-II athletes to be registered and “cleared” before you are considered eligible to participate.

HOW do I get started?

Register with the eligibility center at the start of your Junior year.
