CASFAA Honors Mark Kantrowitz with Creative Leadership Award
Mark Kantrowitz honored with Creative Leadership Award by the California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.

Mark Kantrowitz, a nationally recognized financial expert, has been honored by the California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (CASFAA) with the 2011 Creative Leadership Award. This award is given to an individual who has demonstrated, through significant leadership, innovation in the student financial aid profession.
The presentation was made at CASFAA’s annual conference on Sunday, December 11, 2011 in Sacramento, CA. Mark was unable to attend the conference in person due to a scheduling conflict.
Lynn Fox, CASFAA’s president, congratulated Mark in a letter announcing the award. He wrote “It’s both a pleasure and an honor to inform you that you have been selected to receive the Creative Leadership Award from the California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. This award acknowledges the extraordinary contributions you have made and continue to make to the profession as a publisher, financial aid expert, and advocate for student aid programs.”
CASFAA is one of the largest professional organizations of college financial aid administrators, with more than 1,700 members representing more than 500 colleges and universities.
