Top 10 New Year's Resolutions for 2011
By Kathryn Knight
November 19, 2010
3. Get Fit
Sure, this is the most clichéd New Year’s Resolution—but it’s cliché for a reason. Everyone wants to knock off the holiday pounds at the beginning of the year, and students are no exception. But this resolution isn’t just achieved at the gym. Students should also take into account the need to eat right, drink lots of water and get plenty of sleep.
How can I stay in shape? Commit to at least three days in the gym. Vary your workouts—cardio on Mondays, weights on Wednesday and Yoga or Pilates on Friday. Also, check on your school activities board or website for student-led workout classes so you can meet new people while working on the new you.
