5. Become More Involved
As a student, your main focus is, quite obviously, on academics. But that isn’t enough for future employers. They want experience, and the best place to start is through campus organizations. Join student government or a philanthropic group.
Consider going Greek too. While fraternities and sororities aren’t always painted in the best light by the media, these organizations require their members to be involved in more than just the classroom. It’s a great opportunity to take on leadership, event planning or philanthropic positions.
