Hi, I am a widow since 1991 and raised 3 children on social security benefits. I had to enter the workforce where I was a cook for many years. I decided to return to college to better myself and try to get a better job with more pay. I have an Associates Degree in Applied Science with Medical Insurance Specialist as my major. I have not found a job yet and I am in Bachelor's program for Health Service Administration. I am a work study at the college, so I had to stay in school so I would not loose my job. I really enjoy the program I am in now and could use some financial help that I do not have to worry about paying back due to the fact that my lo9ans are getting quite high now. I would appreciate any help you can give me at this time.

I am soon to have two boys in college at the same time with two more coming behind them in a few years. On a teachers' salary and as a single mom without assistance, fastweb, you could be an answer to this mom's prayers!

Iam a single widowed mom who just relocated to a new city, my classes start on aug, 24th and I just found out Ineed info from the Irs which cld take upto three weeks to recieve, ihave no monies to put toward my classes to start my pell grant is being held up until I get the info from the irs this is why I need a scholarship

I'am unemployed since February, 09. I worked for one company for more than 23 years. I didn't expected to be applying for a job that offered me the same salary that I got when I started working in 1986. But yes, this is my reality. So I'm trying to get back on school. I applied for a pell grant and basically was not approved, only 900.00, and I need more than that to begin. That is why I need to get a scholarship. Please help. Facebook is great!

I am going to be a freshman in college. I go in three weeks, but if I don't have enough money by then I won't be able to pay and won't go to college. I really need to go college is everything. Please HELP.

I am trying to get back out into the work force after being on disability for 20 years and this is the only way I know how. So many things are being cut in SS that I can't survive living with my mom even. I am excited about the opportunities of health care admin. because that is my field always. Facebook is great!

A good education is the foundation that has built civilizations for centuries.?What was the first scholarship and when was it given? ... I need a number of scholarships to finish what i started. I love the basic fundamentals of life on earth. Knowledge is love ,Ignorance is the opposite. Like Yen and Yang opposite but complementary. I am honored to be a friend of Faccebook.
