I live in Liberia.
It has been seven years since i completed high school,but have not been opportuned to enter college as the result of the civil war which led to a high level of poverty in my country.

I believe fastweb will be able to assist me with my interest in attend college again as President Obama has sugested for mom's to go back to school. As a single parent of two fine young men, I worked their whole lives, and gave them the best I could. They both have served the United State Army and Navy, my Navy Son,Paul Sanchez has reinlisted for another six years. Now that I have lost my job, both Son have encourage me to go back to school and persue my interest, I have enrolled in classes which will begin this coming Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, I am very excited, but I do worry that I will not get my financial aid in time to buy the books I will need. It is wonderful to know there are scholarship out there for me to apply for. Thank You fastweb.

Hello to you all, this is also my first time as well. I hope that I could get some scholarships too and I belive that FasrWeb is a great site! I don't really go to college yet but I hope to atleast earn something throughout my HS year and I also hope for everybody to succeed in earning scholarships or grants. I'm a freshman in my school and I know it's early for me to earn something but I look forward to possibilities. I thank FastWeb and FaceBook and I recommend this to any student/adult that are in college or going to attend it!
