All of these are the focus at Westwood College, which operates seventeen campuses, with locations in Anaheim, Upland (Inland Empire), Long Beach, and LosAngeles, California; Atlanta, Georgia; DuPage, OHare Airport, River Oaks, and Chicago Loop, Illinois; Denver North and Denver South, Colorado; Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston, Texas; and Arlington-Ballston and Annandale, Virginia. Distance learning is also available from Westwood Online.

Westwood College offers degree programs in design, technology, and justice. Degree programs in high-technology fields are also offered at two aviation campuses, Redstone College of Aviation TechnologyDenver and Redstone College of Aviation TechnologyLosAngeles.

The Annandale campus, a satellite campus of Westwood CollegeArlington Ballston, is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT).

Academic Programs

The Annandale Satellite campus offers programs that prepare graduates to take advantage of the areas unique career opportunities. Degree programs are offered in animation, computer-aided design/architectural drafting, construction management, graphic design and multimedia, and interior design, to name a few.

Facilities and Resources

Westwood offers a variety of information and research resources, including on-campus Resource Centers, links to Internet-based information services, and a bookstore at each campus. The Campus Resource Centers offer a library of program-specific materials that have been carefully selected to aid that schools career-focused educational mission. The Education Department at each campus collaborates closely with the campus Resource Center staff to ensure that materials support the schools hands-on curriculum. Typical learning aids include books, periodicals, and Internet access. A virtual library, providing remote access to several selected databases, is also offered. Staff members are available to assist students during regular library hours and can provide instruction on how to conduct research in the library and online.

Location

The region offers an array of sporting and cultural events, famous exhibits and museums, and a variety of outdoor activities to keep students busy when not in class.

Admission Requirements

A diploma from an accredited high school or a GED certificate and passing scores on the college entrance exam (or qualifying ACT/SAT scores) are required. In addition, international students must submit TOEFL, IELTS, or MELAB scores. To apply, students must first contact the campus to schedule a personal career assessment.
