Honors Scholarships

Honors scholarships are offered to students who demonstrate high academic achievement in the classroom and who also have a promising academic future. It is possible for a student to receive honors scholarships from every school they apply to. However, students will only have access to the honors scholarships to the particular college or university in which they enroll.

Students receive honors scholarships based on their academic standing at either the high school or college level. On occasion, a student's college application acts as their application for honors scholarships. Typically though, student must fill out separate applications for honors scholarships.

Honors scholarships aren't just school specific. In fact, students can receive honors scholarships from many other providers, including their state, regional councils, and local organizations. Additionally, honors scholarships are given to student athletes who have performed well on the field and in the classroom, though this isn't the only circumstance.
