Over 275 Colleges Accepting Late Applicants
May 05, 2014
Still unsure about your college plans? Don’t worry – it’s not too late to pursue attending a college this fall!
Did you miss the boat on National Decision Day? Don’t worry – you can still attend college this fall!
Most institutions require that application submissions by January and that all accepted applicants send in their enrollment deposits by May 1, National Decision Day.
However, according to the National Association for College Admission Counseling, known as the NACAC, there are still plenty of colleges accepting applications for this fall!
Whether you are a first year student who’s looking to become an incoming freshman or a current college student debating a transfer, more than 275 colleges still have availability for late applicants.
Perhaps even better news – most also have housing and financial aid still available to applicants!
The list also has the capability of filtering schools by location, which is helpful for those looking for colleges within a specific area that still have availability.
For students looking for a cultured experienced, the list details a few schools internationally located colleges in countries like Canada, the United Kingdom, the Dominican Republic and Ireland.
It’s important to keep in mind, however, that the colleges that are not NACAC members are not included in the survey (no Ivy League schools are on the list, for example).
This means that if a college isn’t listed on the site, they still may have space available for students to attend this fall.
Therefore, if you have your heart set on a specific school, it’s always best to check directly with the college.
As time advances, more space will inevitably fill up so apply as early as possible to ensure they still have availability.
This is your second (and final) chance to attend college this fall – do not let it pass you by!
