The reality is that these standardized exams are outdated. We as the future need to be able to write and communicate effectively with others, not study random vocabulary and math problems just so we can get into graduate school. Read education reform will come when these exams are changed or eliminated.

I agrees that the GRE is expensive; however, on the ets.org site, there is a reduced fee area. I am unsure if it includes out of country costs; I just know that one can get reduced fees in the US depending on income, so it may be worth checking into if you have not already. Maybe this will help a little.

GRE is my stumbling block to a graduate school. This is not because i fear to sit for this Exams but they are quite costly in my country. It is like you have to sell three bulls in order to secure examination fees, how can i overcome this scenario without a scholarship.
