The Higher Education Assistance Program Scholar Award is available to graduating high school seniors and current community college students who will be completing an associates degree program and transitioning to a four-year institution. You must be a student between 17 and 21 years of age with a physical or learning disability, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and plan to attend an Oklahoma in-state college or university to be eligible for this award. Selection will be based on your program of study, professional/career goals, extracurricular activities, self-advocacy and self-determination strategies, impact that participation in your program would have on continuing education, and letters of recommendation.
