The Jewish Vocational Service, Chicago Academic Scholarships are open to Jewish students who are pursuing careers in a helping professions. Eligible applicants must be either born and raised in Cook County, the Chicago metropolitan area, or Northwest Indiana, or worked full time for at least 12 months in Cook County or the Chicago metropolitan area. You must be either a rising junior or senior at an accredited professional education program, or entering an accredited professional post-graduate education program on a full-time basis. In addition, you must intend to remain in the Chicago area after completing school. An interview may be required.
