The Competition Scholarships are available to full - time freshmen entering Alfred University in the academic areas of engineering, mathematics, and English composition. The exams, auditions or essay competitions are held on the Alfred University campus the fall and winter of your senior year of high school. Awards may be renewed annually provided you maintain full- time enrollment, a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and good citizenship.
