The Guggenheim Fellowship at the National Air and Space Museum is available to individuals interested in a three- to twelve-month in-residence fellowship for pre- or postdoctoral research in aviation and space history. If you are a pre-doctoral candidate, you should have completed your preliminary course work and examinations, and be engaged in dissertation research. If you are a post-doctoral candidate, you should have received your Ph.D. within the past seven years. A stipend of $27,000 is available for pre-doctoral candidates and $42,000 is available for post-doctoral candidates. Limited additional funds for travel and miscellaneous expenses may also be available.
