- The Leadership Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen and transfer students at Alabama State University. You must have a GPA between 2.5 and 2.69 to be eligible for this award. Incoming freshmen must also have a minimum ACT score of 19 (or SAT of 890 to 920); transfer students must have completed at least 24 semester hours. The scholarship is renewable annually if you complete at least 24 semester hours with a 2.5 GPA.
