- The Incentive Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen and transfer students at Alabama State University. Incoming freshmen must have a GPA between 2.70 and 3.25 and have a minimum ACT score of 20 (or SAT of 930 to 960) to qualify for this award. Transfer students must have completed at least 24 semester hours and also have a GPA between 2.7 and 3.25.
