- The Dean's Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen and transfer students at Alabama State University. Incoming freshmen must have a GPA between 3.26 and 3.50 and have a minimum ACT score of 22 (or SAT of 1010 to 1040) to qualify for this award. Transfer students must have completed at least 24 semester hours and also have a GPA between 3.26 and 3.50.
