Description
The OI-NEH Postdoctoral Fellowship is available to students in any area of early American studies. A principal criterion for selection is that the candidate's dissertation or other manuscript have significant potential as a distinguished, book - length contribution to scholarship. A substantial portion of the work must be submitted with the application. Applicants may not have previously published or have under contract a scholarly monograph, and they must have met all requirements for the doctorate before commencing the fellowship. Those who have earned a Ph.D. and begun careers are also encouraged to apply. This fellowship will begin July 1, 2015.
