The Jeremy D. Protas LGBT Patent Law Scholarship is open to second-year lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered law students who are enrolled at an ABA-accredited law school. Part-time students in four-year programs may be enrolled as second- or third-year students for the academic year. You must be eligible to sit for the Patent Bar Exam, be interested in pursuing a career in patent law (patent litigation or prosecution), and demonstrate strong academic achievement throughout your academic career to be eligible for this award. A resume, including description of science or engineering educational credentials; undergraduate and law school transcripts; and personal statement are required.
