The Podiatric Medicine Scholarship Program is open to students accepted to or enrolled in a podiatric medical school located in Illinois. You must demonstrate financial need, be in good academic standing, and apply to your school's financial aid department on or before the school's designated application deadline date to be eligible for this award. Preference is given to students who have previous experience with medically underserved populations, demonstrate financial need, and show commitment to practicing in a designated underserved area of Illinois. Scholarship recipients are required to work as a primary care physician in an office- based practice in an area within Illinois having a shortage of primary care providers for the same number of years you receive the scholarship.
