Description

The UAS7 International Study and Internship Program in Germany is available to undergraduate sophomores and juniors enrolled in U.S. and Canadian universities. You must be majoring in engineering, science, life sciences, business, management, economics, architecture, art, design, journalism or social work and be a U.S. or Canadian citizen. Also, you must have an outstanding academic record and personal integrity and demonstrate an interest in contemporary German and European affairs. Participating students will complete one semester of study at a German university, followed by a six-month internship in a company or research institute in Germany. Foreign nationals are eligible if they have been full-time students at an accredited US or Canadian university for more than one year at the time of application and intend to return to the US or to Canada after the scholarship period to complete their Bachelor's degree. This scholarship covers six months of university study including tuition, a stipend for living and travel expenses; paid internships are available, with variable compensation depending on the industry.
