The American Society For Microbiology (ASM) Undergraduate Research Fellowship is open to full- time undergraduate students involved in a research project who plan to pursue a graduate degree (Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D.) in microbiology. To qualify for this award, you must have a faculty mentor who is an American Society for Microbiology member and has an ongoing research project. The award requires that you show academic achievement, relevant career objectives, potential contribution to overall project outcome and achievement in previous research experiences.
